The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man after a woman showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Deputies said she was dropped off at Baptist Health Corbin with a gunshot wound. Initially the woman told deputies she did not know who shot her, but after investigating her home, police found evidence that 25-year-old Lucas Bargo shot her during an argument. Investigators say Bargo also lived at the home. Deputies say a gun was found at the home. Bargo was charged with assault and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
