Union Football Player Arrested for Assault

A Union College football player has been charged with assault, fourth degree dating violence. Police say 24-year-old Tony Norman was arrested after police said they found the victim with red marks on her chest, right arm and shoulder. Union College administrators released a statement saying they are aware of an off-campus incident involving a student and a non-student. They said as a matter of policy, they do not comment on ongoing litigation. They said they will await the outcome of the legal process before determining any further action. Norman is scheduled to appear in court on April 30th.
