A Somerset man has been charged with rape and burglary after an investigation in Wayne County. Police responded to a possible sexual assault at a home in the Homestead Heights neighborhood. The suspect, 23-year-old Zachary Brown, left the scene as police arrived. The victim was taken to the Wayne County Hospital for treatment and then transported to UK Hospital. Police later arrested Brown and charged him with second degree rape and second degree burglary. Brown was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
