Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London Police Chief Chuck Johnson report an investigation into a fatal crash. The crash happened Monday on US 25 about 7 miles South of London. Deputy Brad Mink, Deputy Joe Breeding and London Police Officers Hobie Daugherty and Lt. Ryan Jackson of the London – Laurel County Accident Reconstruction Team report that apparently a motorcycle was traveling north on US 25 when it lost control ejecting the driver and passenger. The driver, 54-year-old Randy Schenk, of Corbin, was flown to UK Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The passenger, 48-year-old Sherry Schenk, of Corbin, was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph-London where she was later pronounced dead. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
