The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to a home explosion on Hidden Crest Drive in Somerset. Deputies say the garage behind the home was destroyed in the explosion and one man was found dead. At last report, officials were still investigating the cause of the explosion. In addition to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Somerset Police Department, Parker Mill Fire Department, Somerset Fire Department, Pulaski County Coroner, Special Response Team (HazMat), Emergency Management and Kentucky State Police responded. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was also on-scene.
