Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Zach Allen was dispatched to Johnson Road where a man was reportedly walking in the middle of the road carrying a white bag. Deputy Allen arrived to find 52-year-old Charles Miller, of London, and during the investigation, found him in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Miller was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police say it is Miller’s second offense for carrying meth. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
