Summer is just around the corner, and that means the London-Laurel County Farmers Market is back with fresh, local produce. The Farmers Market returned for the season Saturday with hundreds of people making their way there. Secretary and Treasurer Kazzy King said they’re excited to be back. King said they also work with the elderly and families in the community to get access to fresh food. They have three different senior voucher programs to give money to low-income seniors so that they can come buy produce. They also work with WIC to provide produce for women and children. The farmers market is open each Saturday until October from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. in downtown London.
