Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London Police Chief Chuck Johnson have released the name of a woman killed in a crash Wednesday. Deputy Brad Mink and Officer Hobie Daugherty with the Laurel County Crash Reconstruction Team investigated a two vehicle crash on KY 638. They determined that apparently a car pulled out of a parking lot and into the path of a pickup. The driver of the car, 64-year-old Edith Taylor of London, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A seven year old passenger in the car was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
