KYTC Gives Tips on Safe Winter Driving for Winter Weather Awareness Week

December 3rd through the 9th is Winter Weather Awareness Week and with the start of meteorological winter, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is gearing up for a busy season and officials are sharing tips to stay safe on the road. They say folks should go ahead and start making kits to keep in their cars, things like coats, blankets, some jumper cables and some nonperishable food items just in case you get caught out on the road in a snow and ice event.
