A former Laurel County teacher pleaded guilty to federal charges in connection with a case involving a minor. London police say 31-year-old William Trevor Goodson of London was arrested after they investigated allegations of inappropriate behavior between Goodson and juvenile students. According to his plea agreement, Goodson pleaded guilty to an indictment of online enticement and will not face further charges. The statutory punishment is at least 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 and a supervised release of five years to life. A date has not yet been set for Goodson’s formal sentencing. He is still facing state charges, including sexual abuse and rape. That case is still working its way through the court system.
