Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Tommy Houston along with Detective Hunter Disney and Detective Taylor McDaniel were called out to North Laurel Road where two men were reportedly fighting at a business. When they got to the business, deputies learned one of the men, 46-year-old Lonnie Belt, of Manchester, walked away from the scene. Deputies were able to find Belt, and determined he was under the influence. Since Belt drove to the business where the incident took place, he was charged with DUI. Belt also reportedly misidentified himself as his brother during the investigation, so he was also charged with giving false identifying information to an officer. Belt was also served a warrant out of Perry County. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
