The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a death investigation is underway. The coroner’s office said a man was found dead in a ditch along Highway 421 Tuesday morning. At last report, investigators did not yet know how he died. His body was to be taken to Frankfort for an autopsy. The sheriff’s office says no other information is available right now.
