A cyclist has died following a medical emergency during the RedBud Ride. In a Facebook post, officials with London Downtown said the woman was a beloved member of the Laurel County and cycling communities. She was later identified as 54-year-old Cammie McQueen, who was a receptionist at Paws and Claws for 12 years. Officials also thanked fellow cyclists for their quick action and the Laurel County EMS and Laurel County Fire Department for a rapid response. No other details were released.
