Cumberland Gap Park Recovering From Storm Damage

Cumberland Gap National Historic Park officials announced they are continuing to work through damage caused by recent storms. They say hundreds of trees have fallen and more are at risk of falling. Wilderness Road Campground and Sugar Run Road have been fully reopened, but the Pinnacle Overlook and Lewis Hollow Road remain closed. Crews have cleared the Object Lesson Road, Wilderness Road, Tri-State and Daniel Boone trails. Bartlett Park and Civic Park are open to the public.
