Crews Put Out Fire at Pulaski County Detention Center

First responders were dispatched to a fire at the Pulaski County Detention Center this week. Fire crews discovered smoke and flames coming from a dryer in the laundry room of the building. Officials with the Somerset Fire Department said the fire was extinguished quickly. Officials with the department commended the work of detention center staff to move inmates from the area that was affected to outside the building to ensure they were safe.
