Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Bobby Roberts was called out to a business parking lot off East Laurel Road where a woman was reportedly passed out in her vehicle. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 44-year-old Lissa Bryant, of Williamsburg, there apparently passed out with her foot on the gas with the motor revving. During a search, deputies found a glass pipe, gabapentin, and two baggies containing a clear crystal substance believed to be meth. Once deputies were able to wake up Bryant, they determined she was under the influence and she was wanted on outstanding warrants. She was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
