Clay County Police Arrest Woman Who Allegedly Ran Deputy Off The Road

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is reporting deputies arrested a woman after she almost hit a police cruiser. Officers say 46-year-old Angela Miller was driving in the opposite lane causing an officer to swerve off the road. Police say Miller continued to drive after this and later admitted that she was aware of what she did. Miller reportedly also admitted to being on zanax and suboxone while driving her car. Police say she failed a field sobriety test, had slurred speech and had to lean on the car to maintain her balance. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and wanton endangerment. Miller was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
