Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a man is facing multiple charges after he reportedly broke into and stole from two department police cruisers. Detective Taylor McDaniel arrested 18-year-old Conner Patterson, of London, following an investigation. Patterson allegedly broke out windows of two police cruisers, and stole a handheld radio and other gear. He was charged with criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
