London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting the arrest of a non-compliant sex offender. Sgt. John Inman and Detective Josh Morgan went to serve an outstanding indictment warrant on 46-year-old Hershel Pangle at the Corbin Inn (formerly Knight’s Inn). When police made contact with Pangle, he attempted to flee. After a short foot chase and a brief struggle, Pangle was taken into custody. In addition to the warrant for failure to comply with sex offender registration, he was charged with fleeing or evading police. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
