Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Trafficking Arrest

Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones says Deputy Noah Wesley pulled over a car on West 80 after noticing it had an expired license plate. During the roadside investigation, Deputy Wesley found nearly 18 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with digital scales and cash. The substances were determined to belong to the passenger, Kenny Braden, of Science Hill. Braden was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Braden was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
