Kentucky State Police say troopers were called to investigate a fire in Knox County. The Barbourville Fire Department was called to a home fire on Pitzer Street. After putting out the fire, evidence from the scene led to an investigation about possible arson. Troopers arrested 58-year-old Ann Sloan, 66-year-old Donnie Sloan and 56-year-old Beatrice Isaac. All three were charged with arson and wanton endangerment. Troopers say all three admitted to setting the home on fire for insurance fraud. One person living in the basement was able to escape the fire without injuries.
