Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Zach Allen and Deputy Matt Walker were called out on a trespass complaint off Riviera Lane. Deputies arrived to find 49-year-old Steven Williams, of London, weed eating on the property. Police say Williams had trespassed on the property before. Williams reportedly told deputies that he was weed eating just to be weed eating and that no one that lived at the residence had given him permission. Williams was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
