Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones said throughout the last week, five people were arrested on drug charges in the county. 41-year-old John Hargis II was arrested during a traffic stop. After a K-9 detected the presence of drugs, deputies found suspected meth, marijuana, baggies and a gun in his truck. Another traffic stop led to 3 arrests. 30-year-old Bryan Hopper was arrested on an outstanding warrant, as well as drug and firearms charges. 24-year-old Brittany Meadows and 22-year-old Summer Smith were arrested on drug charges. Deputies also arrested 51-year-old Angela Simpson on drug trafficking charges during a raid at a home.
