Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Matt Walker and Deputy Tommy Houston were dispatched to East Pittsburgh Church Road where a couple were staying without permission at a house that wasn’t theirs. Deputies knocked on the door and could hear movement inside. The home owner gave them permission to go in where they found 56-year-old Thomas Douglas Scott and 58-year-old Leisha Marie Dean, both of London. Both were arrested for criminal trespassing. Scott was also wanted on a Laurel County warrant for flagrant nonsupport. Scott and Dean were both lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
