Tax day is just over a month away, and the United Way of the Bluegrass wants to help you get your taxes done for free. They hosted their ‘Super Saturday’ free tax preparation event this weekend but there’s still time for you to get help when it comes to Uncle Sam. United Way of the Bluegrass’s VITA program offers free tax preparation services throughout the tax season, helping to return millions of dollars to local taxpayers. If you couldn’t attend Saturday’s event, you can dial 211 to make a free appointment. VITA tax services are available to anyone earning less than $62,000 in 2023.
