Pulaski County Drug Bust Nabs Four

Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones says four people were arrested following a drug bust. While serving a search warrant, deputies found several drugs in a home. Officials said seven people were inside the home at the time. Police said they found approximately 18.8 grams of fentanyl, 7.1 grams of meth and 3.4 grams of heroin along with a marijuana plant. Police charged 42-year-old Virginia New, of Somerset, with trafficking in fentanyl and meth. 52-year-old Scotty Childers, of Somerset, was charged with possession of a firearm and handgun by a convicted felon. 37-year-old Josh Thomas, of Science Hill, was charged with heroin possession, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 28-year-old Erik Goodin, of Somerset, was charged with with failure to pay fines. All four were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
