Lights Over London Returns with Two Shows Friday Night

Lights Over London will be back in the skies above Downtown London Friday night with two shows. This year’s show is extended to two 15 minute shows. The first show will be at 8 p.m. with the same show launching again at 9:30 p.m., featuring 200 synchronized drones, showcasing new designs to capture the spirit of the season. While Town Center Park is the prime viewing spot, almost anywhere in downtown London will be great for viewing, though the show will face west. Kool Gold 96.7 will be on the downtown sound system and will broadcast the soundtrack to the shows. Food Trucks will begin serving by 6 p.m. at Town Center and at the parking area at former First National Bank of Manchester on Main Street.  A Hot Chocolate Stop provided by Laurel County 4-H Culinary Club will be located in front of the Laurel County Court House. Entertainment at the Town Center Stage with costumed characters mingling around the park begin shortly thereafter. A friendly reminder from the City of London Police: Please ensure you’re parked before the drone shows begin and avoid stopping in the middle of the street. Lights Over London is a presentation of London Tourism and Parks who remind everyone to check out our Lights Around London Christmas Light Driving Tour benefiting Shop With A Cop and plan to join us for New Year’s Eve!
