Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a teenager is dead after an ATV crash about 6 miles east of London. Deputy Daniel Reed, Detective Robert Reed and Crash Reconstructionist Deputy Brad Mink say it happened Tuesday around 4 p.m. on Nineva Road. Deputies say two 13-year-olds were on a four-wheeler when they ran off the roadway and lost control. One of the two teenagers died while the other was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. At last report no names had been released.
