Knox County Man Arrested After Home Break In

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says were called out on a burglary in progress on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. A woman at the home said 25 year old Lee Warren had beat on her door and kicked it open. She said Warren ran at her in a rage yelling he wanted her keys. She said she ran into the basement and locked the door and stayed on the phone with Knox Dispatch. She told the dispatcher that she could hear him jumping up and down on the roof of her car. When officers arrived she said Warren had just left on foot. Deputies found him walking on 25E in Flat Lick. He was arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief. He was also wanted on a Bell County warrant for failure to appear on a public intoxication/controlled substance charge. Warren was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
