Two Men Arrested After Police Find Them Passed Out At Traffic Stop

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested two people at the scene of an accident. Officers had traffic stopped on 1803, north of Girdler, while they investigated a vehicle crash. When the road was reopened, one the vehicles waiting in line did not move. When deputies checked the vehicle, they found the driver and the passenger passed out inside. After waking the two men, officers found two Suboxone strips, over 100 assorted pills and a used syringe. The driver, 52 year old William Sizemore, was charged with DUI, third offense, among others. The passenger, 30 year old Arthur McVey, was charged with drug offenses, resisting arrest and others. Both were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
