Williamsburg men arrested after leading police in chase

A Williamsburg man led police on a nearly 90-minute chase that went through the river and into the woods before he was finally apprehended Monday afternoon. KSP Trooper Les Moses charged Ewell Chad Lawson, 36, of Williamsburg, with receiving stolen property under $500, second-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked operator's license and other offenses.
Williamsburg Police Detective Bobby Freeman charged Jared Reeder, 21, of Williamsburg, who was a passenger in Lawson's vehicle, with receiving stolen property under $500.
