By volunteering for as little as a few hours a month, you could make sure a cancer patient receives lifesaving treatment.  The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteer drivers to participate in the Road to Recovery program. Anyone who has a driver’s license, a safe driving record, personal automobile insurance, owns a car or has access to one, and can spare as little as one morning or afternoon a month is encouraged
to volunteer. For more information about Road to Recovery, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS-2345 or visit www.cancer.orgTo you, it’s just a car.  But to a cancer patient, it’s a lifeline.
